SENIOR METALLURGIST
Way Linggo Project is located in Southern Sumatra and situated within the highly prospective Trans Sumatran Fault. It is a 4th generation Contract of Work (Mining Title) covering an area of 100km2.

Way Linggo Project contains high grade, narrow vein, low sulphidation epithermal gold and silver deposits that are extracted utilising simple, underground non-mechanised mining methods. It is a low cost gold producer generating high cash flow.

The processing plant consists of a conventional crushing, SAG and ball mill circuit and employs a Merrill Crowe circuit to extract gold and silver.

The candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering, minimum of 7 years experience in continuous improvement environment and exposure to base metals and or gold processing

The Senior Metallurgist will be responsible for fulfilling quality control functions within Metallurgical and Quality Control Divisions and provide the division with metallurgical skills.

Your roster will be 28 days on and 14 days field break.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to Superintendent Maintenance, the General Foreman Electrical Fixed Plant Maintenance will be responsible for managing all the activities of the Electrical section. This includes responsibility for the maintenance of all the electrical equipment, electrical switchgear, and electrical distribution throughout the mine site and process plant, from primary crusher through the process plant to tailings dam area, and for organizing the activities of 2 Supervisors and 11 Electricians and 2 Instrument Fitter, as well as trainees and helpers.

• Experience with HV and LV electric motor maintenance and rebuilds, HV power distribution, HV electrical switchgear, etc.

Proposes organization structure and key persons with the project. Develops Project Management Quality Plan. Hold internal kick-off meeting. Organizes and attends kick-off meeting with client.
• Perform project execution within budget, schedule, and quality defined in Project Management Quality Plan.
• Coordinates with project team for technical, administration and management.
• Coordinates internally with supporting group within the company during project execution.
• Ensures that all procedures within the project are implemented.
• Closely follows all clauses of contract conditions.
• Checks and approves all clauses of contract conditions.
• Acts any external correspondences to client.
• Prepares change orders, claims, and negotiates it with client.
• Build and maintains customer relationship and customer satisfaction for the benefit of company.
• Clarifies with Accounting / Finance / Procurement for any payment claim raised by suppliers / vendors.
• Authorizes personnel time sheet.

REQUIREMENTS:

• S1 graduates: at least 5-year working experiences in various field, including 3-year working experiences as Project Engineer or Site Manager.
• Or D3 graduates: at least 10-year working experiences in various filed, including 5-year working experiences as Project Engineer or Site Manager.
• Knowledge of Project Management.
• Able to manage staff and project.
• Good communication skill.
• Good analytical skill.
• Good leadership, strong team-sprit, proactive, cooperative, willing to work hard, good confident level and good sense of responsibility.
• Computer literature: MS Word / MS Excel / Scheduler.
• Good command of English (oral and written).
